American Impressionist Society - Award of Excellence

I was honored to recently learn my painting won the Wind River Arts Award of Excellence
at the American Impressionist Society's 11th Annual National Juried Exhibition.

    Thank you for sharing the boat paintings and video. I enjoyed it tremendously! I love your boats. One day you will have to share with me how you get those wonderful light specks into your paintings. My favorite part of your style. Is it just a brush thing? Sometimes I move the paint around on my paintings to get a looser feel and some movement in the lights using a paper towel and kind of a dusting thing. I like how it softens the edges as well, then I go back and add sharper edges where I want them. I wonder if you do someting like that?
    I will have to visit your studio one day and find out!
